Let me first start by announcing that blog posts will be coming out every Monday from now on instead of Friday’s. I thought it would be better this way so that you have something to scroll through if you’re bored at work. So just remember it will be Monday’s from now on.

So this post will be all things skin care and makeup. Specially the brand Pixi which can be found online and in Target. I am obsessed with this brand to put it mildly. They are quality products without the hefty price tag. The best part is that they are a cruelty free company!!! How amazing is that?! Now we can look good and feel good. This wonderful company makes both makeup and skincare with all ages and skin types in mind. I’m currently obsessed with their milky skin care line which is great for my oily T zone.

Pixi Often sends me new products to try and share with everyone about my experience. Let me tell you how lucky and grateful I feel every time I get one of those mint green and pink packages on my door step. It’s like my Birthday every time! But you guys I was really blown away when they invited me to their #pixihouseofglow event in West Hollywood. Walking into that penthouse suite was like walking into a dream. The first thing I saw were all their new makeup items. All absolutely stunning. The only thing I don’t usually go for is glitter, but my friend Laugh Love and Hippie picked some up and will be doing a tutorial soon if you want to check them out. As for me, I’m a neutral tone girl when it comes to makeup. Pixi definitely has me covered there. It was decorated so beautifully and you were able to try all the products on your own or with the help of one of their professional artists. But if you have been following me for a while then you will know how passionate I am about skin care. Truly I think it’s so important to keep your skin looking it’s best. I was excited to see LOT’S of skin care happening at the event. They have so many choices for different skin types and ages. Currently I mix and match what I use. As I said before I am obsessed with the milky skin care line, but I also can’t wait to get my hands on their collagen boosting formulas. Under eye patches here i come! I’m also very in love with the glow tonic for right after I wash my face to clear any impurities left over and give me a healthy glow. I really enjoyed the fact that at this event there was an area where professionals were able to explain and demo all the skin care products. I got to smell and feel everything as well as ask questions about what product was right for my skin. Their staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I left knowing more about my skin and how to help certain issues I’d been having. I really just love being able to talk to someone knowledgeable about my specific needs.

Moving on to decor. This event had it all! Even the bathrooms were decorated with products! They had a coffee shop, photo booth, skin care room, a room to pick out gifts and a whole room with champagne and a bubble machine! Not to mention sweet little vanity’s in every corner so that you could play with the makeup. If I had known I would have come with no makeup and just done it there. Honestly I think they out did themselves and they really spoiled us! I left with two eye shadow pallets, a new red matte lip color, two full size skin care products and a coffee mug!!! Spoiled is an understatement. I’m so thankful for Pixi and I hope next time you’re browsing through Target you will give them a shot. They are totally worth it and you’ll love the price!
