OC Fashion week!

Hey everyone! I can’t believe the week is over!It really flew by. This was such a crazy busy week for me that I literally had an event to go to every night since Sunday. Starting with OC Fashion week which was nothing short of incredible. The designers I saw had so much talent and the models showcased the work with such grace. This was my first fashion week so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I wasn’t able to participate Sunday and Monday but boy did Tuesday blow the roof off of everything! First of all I was styled by the designer of Blush Elegance in a gorgeous black gown. I literally felt like I should be on the red carpet. I then met with my Blogger Babes and we boarded the OC Fashion week cruise around Newport Harbor. They somehow made a three story yacht into a fashion runway!!!! We were able to see both Mens and women’s fashion, and some of the babes even got to strut their stuff on the catwalk! I seriously felt so appreciative to attend.

Night three was just as amazing and was located at a luxury apartment complex in Costa Mesa. For this event two separate runways and 9 different designers were featured!!! I think I was most excited to see Trina Turks line but just about lost it when my friend and fellow blogger babe actually got to walk in her show! I was so uber proud of her! Watching models walk a runway in designer clothing was such a beautiful experience. I caught myself really paying attention to the material and details even if the outfit wasn’t my taste. I was able to really appreciate the art of it! I have to be honest, I wasn’t excited at first to watch a fashion show. I never really understood why people wanted to sit by and watch models display weird clothing that no one would ever wear. But now I understand it’s like an art form. Like waking into a modern museum and looking at people’s heart and soul displayed in their work. It was very inspiring and something I will look forward to in the future.
