Hi everyone!!! I truly can’t believe 2017 has come and gone. The years seem to be flying by. 2017 was an amazing year for me. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Special Education. I got married in Cancun Mexico, and I started my beloved blog!!! When writing it out it doesn’t look like much but let me tell you, my blood sweat and tears went into those three things. Now to look forward to what 2018 will bring. Or better yet, what I will bring myself.

Marriage & Faith: This part of my life is most important and will always come first. My husband and I don’t get to spend much time together so when we do get time I feel we should make the best of it. This year will include at least TWO vacations. One for sure will be to the beautiful Thailand!!! I will also hope to make some time for some mini weekend getaways to relaxing destinations. I am hoping Colorado, Wyoming or Montana will be on that list. I plan to continue to date my husband even after marriage. This means taking time out from work, friends and family and spending time in the company of each other. We mostly do this by exploring food and wine. Faith is just as important if not more so as it is a key in marriage. I plan to keep my faith strong with daily prayer and devotion as well as Sunday services. I also plan to take more alone time in Gods creation through hikes and other nature outings.

Health: 2017 wasn’t my greatest year for fitness. I let other stresses take over and put my health in the back seat. I gained 20 lbs and now weigh more than I ever have. I am very uncomfortable in my clothes lately and don’t eat as healthy as I could. I have always had trouble eating my fruits and veggies and sadly have a MAJOR sweet tooth!!! In 2018 I want to get my health back. I want to feel good in my skin again. I don’t need to loose a ton of weight or completely change everything I eat but I definitely need to love myself again. This means having a plan. My plan is to work out at least 4 days a week and incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet. I’d also like to completely cut out dairy as a personal preference due to some new found knowledge about the dairy industry.

Blog: This is a huge goal for me. I started this blog in September of 2017 and cannot believe how fast it has blown up. I really pushed out of my comfort zone and could not be more proud of the work I’m doing. In 2018 I’d like to grow even more. I would love to write at least two blog posts per week and focus mostly on my blog instead on just social media. Creating great content to bring to my readers is so important. I just really want to help you find the deals that I find when I find them.

These are just some of the goals I have for myself. My ultimate plan is to create a vision board and place it where I can see it day in and day out. That way my goals are in sight. If I can see it then I can do it and so can you. What are some of your goals for 2018?
