Pre-Shoot Denim

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very relaxed and mostly spent glued to what’s going on in Houston. I’m praying for Texas and all its residents.

I’ve been very excited for today because it was my first real shoot!!! As you all know I’m new to the blog scene so it took me a little while to find a photographer. The funny thing is, this post will feature picture from an impromptu pre-shoot done by my best friend BEFORE the real shoot. Silly right? Well I wanted to make sure my hair and makeup were camera ready before I met my photographer.  Then I ended up liking the pictures and decided to post the outfit! I love any photo where my dog, Bibi is actually being somewhat photogenic. I swear unless she’s fast asleep, she refuses to take photos! So please enjoy this rare occasion. I love this outfit because it’s so easy to put together. You can also dress it up or down. Ill start with my Crochet top . I also love this one from Forever 21. I picked mine up a couple years back but was never confident enough to wear it anywhere because the back on mine is see through. That’s why I started pairing it with a cute Jean Jacket like this one. The jacket gives it a casual country feel. Not to mention I’m always cold! You can also find similar here.

My Leggings are awesome! These bad boys withstand all that I put them through. They are super comfortable and they stay in place! This means you can wear them with an outfit or to work out and no one would know the difference. My favorite part is that they are high waisted so they kind of act like Spanx and hold everything in. And guess what?! They are $20 and come in ton’s of different colors! Thank you Amazon!

Love my booties? So do I!!! I found them last September at Marshals. Vince Camuto for $50! Not too bad right? They are super comfortable to walk in and the color is in between grey and brown so they go with most of my earth tone outfits. Dont like as much of a heel? You can also go with these.

Lastly my new tote is so fun! I’ve never actually had a purse this big and I am loving all the stuff I can fit in it! I found this guy at Marshalls for around $30. It’s made of vegan leather and is super soft and light so it doesn’t weigh me down and hurt my back.  Since you can’t shop online at Marshalls, I have linked a similar tote that cost even less than mine! Way to go H&M!
